This year the Year 6/7 class has been doing a values project we have been going on some excursions and I thought it was really fun. I learnt lots about the river and bush tucker. I have realized about how much life the white people take from the Nyungar people. I think the way the aboriginals lived was very smart. They have created a way to live and have fun without using electricity and petrol.
I have also found the story about the river and the land very interesting. While doing the values project we are putting together a DVD about the river. I think it is a good idea to be able to create something while learning an interesting subject.
Our class has experienced some fun things and tasted some strange things and been taught a lot of cool stuff. And I had lots of fun.
