Last term we had lots of tours and stories and were told about Aboriginal history.  We learnt about the Waaguls and the significance of the river.  One waagul went north and made a hill in Kings Park and the other waagul went south and created Bibra Lake.  I go fishing with my dad on the river and I didn’t know about these spots, but now I can tell him what is what and where all of these important places are and how to respect them.
I now know how to respect these places and how to look after them.
To care for them, to respect them and to give them a home.  Give them food and drink
