From this project I have learnt about Nyungar culture – like all the ways they had to find food and water, and I found it really interesting hearing all the stories about how the land was created, like the one about the waaguls.
This project has really made me aware of the Nyungar culture and how in touch they were with the land.  It also made me appreciate how they had to find food and water in the bush and how good at it they were.  I think to sustain the Nyungar culture we should preserve the land and treat it with respect.  I think it is important that we know about it because we should be aware of other peoples' cultures.
I really enjoyed this project, especially the bush tucker tours and I got a lot out of it.
